Atlanta, GA — February 2008 — Rub-through damage, pinhole leaks, and cross-threaded joints are no problem for the new Line Splice from AirSept. Now you can repair damaged lines without removing the entire line.
Quick and easy way to repair a section of tube
AirSept’s new Line Splice features proven sealing technology that gives quick, leak-free assembly. A new sealing sleeve features dynamic HNBR material that adapts to seal against irregular tubing surfaces. The 3/8” wide sleeve design helps prevent leak “travel” that can defeat narrow o-ring seals.

The wider sleeve also helps resist the torsional vibration that shortens the life of components in automotive applications. A slotted compression ferrule coupled with a tapered nut guarantees good seal-to-surface contact as well as a tight grip on the tubing.

AirSept’s new Line Splice works with a standard box wrench, so no crimping tools or other expensive tools are required. It fits 5/16”, 3/8”, or 1/2” tubing sizes.

AirSept’s Line Splice can connect two lines of different ID. It is excellent for vehicles with a smaller line connecting a rear evaporator to the a/c system (for example, a Chevy Suburban).

It is available in individual sizes or a Master Pack that combines one Line Splice with one each of the three sizes of sealing sleeve and compression ferrule. The new Line Splice features a small footprint (under 2.5”) to fit in tight spaces under the hood.
