Refrigerant Leak Detector is Certified to Meet SAE J2791

Hialeah, FL — Feb 15, 2008 — Techno Tools Corporation, a manufacture of hand held electronic diagnostic and test instrumentation, has announced that on February 4, 2008, its model D440A, heated sensor refrigerant leak detector was certified by a qualified independent laboratory to comply with SAE Standard J2791. The new SAE Standard was created in response to a need to reduce refrigerant HFC-134a emissions and to establish minimum performance criteria for an improved class of electronic hand held probe-type refrigerant leak detectors capable of finding very small to moderate leaks.

Techno Tools Corporation model D440A is the first leak detector independently certified to comply with the new Standard, J2791.
