Lewiston, ME — February 20, 2007 — Mary Samay, who grew up in the radiator business, passed from the earth on Monday, February 19. All we know is that she was ill for the last week. We'll add more to this page as details come in.

I spoke with Mary in Phoenix at the MACS Convention just two weeks ago. She was her normal, jovial self, very upbeat, fun and interested in the current events of our industry and nation. Ellen and I miss her already.

Here's a quote from her biography that appears on a memorial website honoring her memory:
"Mary was the light and life of any place she ventured. She always had the ability to see the positive effects of a negative situation. She had a wonderful sense of humor and the ability to bring levity to any occasion. When she entered a room it was impossible not to feel her presents."

That's so true. Please read more about Mary at the site:

A funeral service was held in Lewiston, Saturday, February 24 at 11am at the Holy Cross Church. Committal to St. Peter's cemetery.
