AutoZone's Bill Rhodes to Address AASA Executive Breakfast at AAPEX

Research Triangle Park, NC — March 17, 2008 — Bill Rhodes, chairman, president and CEO of AutoZone Inc., will address the Executive Breakfast presented by the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, the kick-off event at Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nev.
Rhodes will be the featured speaker at the fourth annual event offered by AASA on the opening day of AAPEX. The breakfast is sponsored by Ernst & Young.
"We are pleased that Bill is joining us for the 2008 AASA Executive Breakfast. AutoZone is one of the leading retailers in the automotive aftermarket, and Bill's insights will be of particular interest to our members," said Steve Handschuh, president and COO of AASA.
Handschuh will open the meeting by addressing the state of the aftermarket industry and AASA initiatives. Following Rhodes' keynote presentation, he and Handschuh will answer questions from the crowd.

About Bill Rhodes
Bill Rhodes is chairman, president and chief executive officer of AutoZone Inc. Rhodes was named president and CEO of AutoZone on March 13, 2005 and chairman on June 6, 2007.
He has been with the company for more than 13 years and has served in a variety of executive-level roles including executive vice president overseeing store operations and commercial, senior vice president supply chain and information technology, senior vice president supply chain, divisional vice president of stores and senior vice president of finance.
Rhodes, who joined AutoZone in 1994, began his career with Ernst & Young serving in various capacities from 1988 to 1994. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with an accounting degree. He also earned a master of business administration degree from the University of Memphis, and is a certified public accountant (inactive).
Rhodes currently serves on several industry and community boards: Coalition for Auto Repair Equality (CARE), Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), Memphis Tomorrow (vice chairman), and the National Civil Rights Museum (treasurer).
