Westbury, NY — March, 6, 2008 — Spectronics Corporation has recently published a six-page, full-color brochure on Spectroline® leak detection products and diagnostic tools.

The brochure includes information on a full range of cordless LED leak detection lamps and kits. Each of these kits contains an inspection flashlight, a dye injector with hose and coupler, one or two universal fluorescent dye cartridges and other components, all packaged in a rugged plastic carrying case.

New this year is the AB-100CS ACID-BUSTER™ injection kit. ACID-BUSTER solution is designed to chemically neutralize acid build-up, thus helping to prevent compressor burnout in small to medium size AC&R systems. The kit features an EZ-Ject™ injector assembly with hose and coupler, and two 0.5 oz. acid neutralizing cartridges. It comes in a clamshell package.

Also highlighted are specialized diagnostic tools, such as the COBRA™ Series of multi-purpose borescopes and the Marksman™ ultrasonic diagnostic tool. The COBRA borescopes feature long, thin shafts, which enable technicians to inspect and leak check hard-to-see components — without disassembly. The Marksman converts and amplifies inaudible ultrasonic sound into audible “natural” sound for accurate diagnosis of compressed air, natural gas, propane tank, vacuum, refrigerant, steam and other pressurized leaks, as well as gear and bearing wear.

The brochure also provides information about a complete line of fluorescent dyes used to detect leaks in fluid systems, including hydraulic fluid, engine oil, compressor oil, gearbox oil, fuel and water.
