North Canton, OH — Oct 18, 2007 — ASC Industries Inc. is pleased to announce that it will repeat its financial pledge to the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium Scholarship Fund for 2008 on behalf of its “Customers Who Care.” The $5,000 donation will provide five scholarships to assist students pursuing their careers in the automotive aftermarket.

Last year, ASC chose to make the donation in its customers’ names to the 2007 fund rather than sending traditional holiday gifts as a token of appreciation, entitling the pledge “Customers Who Care.” Recipients of the 2007 aid attended special plant tours of ASC over the summer to provide them first-hand experience with one facet of the aftermarket industry.

Since the GAAS Scholarship program’s inception 11 years ago, over 1,300 students have received financial aid. Through this scholarship program, ASC’s customers join other industry partners in providing over $1.3 million in assistance to students to assist in establishing their automotive aftermarket career as a technician, marketer, engineer, sales representative or other applicable position.

ASC Industries Inc., is a worldwide leader in New Water Pump manufacturing with facilities in the United States, China, Mexico and Spain. As the aftermarket’s largest New Water Pump supplier, ASC is the only aftermarket water pump company that manufactures a significant volume to OE/OES.
