CARQUEST and MACS Announce Finalists in Mobile A/C-Heat Transfer Tech of the Year Competition

Lansdale, PA — September 25, 2007 — CARQUEST and MACS Worldwide have teamed up to find the best mobile A/C and heat transfer service technician in the United States and Canada. The first round of competition which included an online skill assessment is complete and 10 finalists have been named.

Qualifying for the final competition are:

The intensely challenging finals will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Hendrick Motorsports facility in Charlotte, NC. The 10 finalists will tackle a series of mobile A/C service tasks and diagnostic challenges. The top three qualifying competitors will be chosen at the Charlotte competition and sent to attend the MACS 2008 Convention and Trade Show, CURRENT EVENTS, January 31-February 2, 2008 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World. The champion will be announced at the MACS Convention on Thursday, January 31, 2008 during the CARQUEST Keynote Luncheon.
