February 4, 2010, Leesburg, VA – The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has scheduled the Spring 2010 General Meeting for April 20th at the Meritage Resort in Napa, California. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Equipment and Tool Institute’s ToolTech. “The Spring meeting is usually held in cooperation with the Society of Automotive Engineers World Congress in Detroit, Michigan,” said Charlie Gorman, NASTF Chairman. “However, this year the SAE could not accommodate the NASTF meeting, so the leadership voted to move the meeting location to coincide with ToolTech.”
The agenda for the General Meeting is currently being finalized and will be released soon. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm PST on the 20th. In addition to the NASTF General meeting, attendees will have the option of participating in the ETI ToolTech meeting at an additional cost. For more information on ToolTech, visit the ETI website at www.etools.org.
NASTF was established in 2000 to identify, communicate and resolve gaps in the availability and accessibility of automotive service information, service training, diagnostic tools, and equipment for the benefit of automotive service professionals and their customers.
